- Moulded from real oak
- Resistant to decay
- UV & weathering stability
Designed and installed with your safety in mind.
Tough
The unique Lastane layer resists scratches and stains and is designed to withstand more demanding outdoor environments than timber can.
Enduring
The dual-tone Lastane surface is hand tinted using pigments designed to replicate the look of natural timber
Safer
Millboard is wood-free and non-porous, which means high resistance to algae growth and is splinter-free.
Lighter
Our unique. closed 'cellular' internal structure reduces weight while maintaining strength.
Stronger
The structural core is a blend of natural minerals bonded in a polymer resin with long fibre reinforcement for added strength.
Durable
Millboard cladding is solid, not hollow. This makes it strong and means it won't warp, rot or harbour insects and pests like timber would.
Remarkable craftsmanship
From the initial laying of the unique Lastane surface, right through the pouring of fiber-reinforced resin-mineral filler, we focus on achieving an excellent quality of finish. Our respect for accuracy permeates every square millimetre, with tried and tested processes that help our master craftsmen to deliver an authentic wood look finish.
Rigorously Tested
Each length of Millboard is the result of a long process of craftmanship and attention to detail. From the initial layering of the unique Lastane surface, right through the pouring of fiber-reinforced resin-mineral filler, we focus on achieving the finest quality of finish. Our respect for accuracy permeates every square millimetre and this is why many of our processes are carried out manually. For example, each piece is hand-coloured by master craftsmen to establish authentic wood finish. We have great respect for the skilled eye of an artist and are therefore committed to the hand-colouring system. The resulting true-to-life shades speak for themselves.

FAQs
Millboard decking is extremely versatile and can be used in practically every outdoor space (subject to building control). Create decks, cladding, balconies, roof gardens, boardwalks, bridges, pontoons, seating, steps, planters and more. Millboard can be used as the decorative face for most outdoor designs, as long as it is fixed to a structural element.
Millboard has been designed to replicate the natural variances of timber and we do not intend for the product to have identical shades. Buying all the Millboard decking you need at the same time should help to ensure that the colour is as consistent and we would always recommend laying out the boards before installation, to create an effective, subtle blend.
Samples are provided as a representation of the product and we would encourage customers to view full boards as part of a deck, in order to fully appreciate the product, prior to purchase.
We go to extraordinary lengths to recreate the look of natural timber. As with all products exposed to the elements including sunlight, snow and rain, Millboard will naturally weather and tone down over time. Slight yellowing, especially in the deeper grain of our decking and cladding boards will be visible and loss of gloss is also expected and intentional. This is in order for us to replicate that natural piece of timber it has so carefully been moulded against along with our unique hand coloured process.
As Millboard is made from a resin mineral composition it is stable in comparison to timber or composites based on timber. We recommend a 4mm gap between the sides of boards and a 1mm gap between the ends of boards, a 10mm gap should be left between the boards and any solid surface to aid drainage.
